It all began as a women owned small business from our homes back in 2010.  The brand then was called Suzani.

Suzani, a Persian word for needlework, is a socially-conscious enterprise which aims to revive the artisanal heritage of the Middle East region into contemporary fashion, while also enabling artisans to earn a sustainable wage from their work. We share a passion for ethnic revival, and have a clear intention to celebrate and preserve cultural heritage of the region, engage the best artisans, and source the highest quality ethnic pieces for integration into our new designs .

As a business, we believe in elevating artisanal crafts to create viable incomes through working with artisans who produce the original needlework fabric, paying a fair price reflecting the knowledge, experience and resources put into each piece. Our approach to working with artisans focuses on cultural inspiration, economic empowerment, protection of human rights in production, and payment to enable a sustainable wage.

In 2018 we decided to rebrand the brand by adding the first letter of our names to our original brand so we became ZdSuzani.

In May 2019 we registered an official company and have grown from home-based to selling our designs in a primetime boutique in Amman Jordan.

We have successfully created a brand that embodies a unique style of ethnic elegance. Our Collection includes handbags, clothing collection and accessories that have a great story to tell and a wonderful visual appeal.
