I’m Ibrahim, Co-founder of KILIIM.

We’re excited to announce that we got shortlisted for the CREACT4MED Best Practice Award and we’re asking for your support to help us win. Since 2016 KILIIM has been working and helping local weaver communities lead better lives, make 50% higher income and sustain the local Egyptian rug-weaving craft.

Recently we started expanding our impact by working with 6 different craftsmen communities (in handcrafted ceramics, handblown glass, stoneware and textile weaving) from all over Egypt and we’ll be using the award prize to market their products online to shoppers from all over the world, hence making sure we widen our impact on the whole Egyptian handicrafts industry.
