Yes Theatre is a community theatre that offers artistic performances, drama workshops, performances, training in theatre-based techniques for teachers, and cultural exchange for community development. The overall goal of YT is to improve the psychosocial well-being of Palestinian children and youth through Drama and Theatre and empower rights holders to know about and assert their rights. The majority of YT’s activities are conducted in collaboration with UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, and the Palestinian Ministry of Education.
Every year, YT’s activities in the Hebron district reach 130,000 students and hundreds of members of the public. We offer long- and short-term programs such as Play4Kids, Kids4Kids, Drama workshops, Puppets 4 Kids, Taking Detention out of Palestinian Children, Yes4Youth, Drama Healing, and Yes4Future.
Yes Theatre is one of the main Palestinian organizations that support entrepreneurs. The organization runs a program called the Cultural Entrepreneurship Lab. The program is implemented in partnership with the Al Asfari Foundation, which targets young artists throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
